What you do on this cruise<\/h2>\n

The boat leaves the harbour in Costa Adeje at around 18:30 or 19:00<\/strong>, depending on the month, and heads along the south coast. The whole trip lasts 2.5 to 3 hours<\/strong>, because its length is set by sunset, and that shifts through the year.<\/p>\n

On the way you see the island’s beaches and cliffs from the water, in light that changes colour every few minutes at this hour. It is the best moment of the day for photos from the deck, because the sun comes in at an angle rather than straight into the lens.<\/p>\n

There are snacks and drinks<\/strong> for everyone aboard. Along the way you may see dolphins leaping clear of the water, or pilot whales, permanent residents of the seas around Tenerife. In the summer season<\/strong> the trip also includes a stop in a cove where you can cool off and swim.<\/p>\n

Who this is for (and who it is not)<\/h2>\n

It works well for an anniversary, a birthday, or simply an evening for two with nothing to organise. It also suits families: children up to 10 get a discount, and a gentle evening sail is easier on them than a long day in the sun.<\/p>\n

You sail from Puerto Col\u00f3n<\/strong>, the largest marina in the heart of Costa Adeje. The exact time for your date and the meeting point are sent in a separate email within 24 hours of booking.<\/p>\n

It gets cooler on the water once the sun is down, so a jumper is not overkill. Cancellation is free up to 72 hours before the start<\/strong> with a 100% refund. Under-18s sail with an accompanying adult, and the operator may offer extras on the day, such as photos, paid separately.<\/p>\n
