Gran Canaria - full island tour
About this experience
One day to go right around the island: a harbour that looks Italian, coloured rock faces, a glass terrace over the ocean and the green north. We collect you straight from your hotel in the south. Please note the tour is guided in Polish.
What you see along the way
You start in Puerto Mogán, known as the Canarian Venice. Canals, small bridges, colourful houses and flowers on every wall. It is the most photogenic place on the route and a good way to start the day slowly.
The road then runs through the Tamadaba park to the Blue Rocks, the Azulejos de Veneguera. The slope here holds shades of gold, blue and pink that no photo really captures, which is why the stop is worth the time. Next comes the town of Aldea for a coffee with Tenerife on the horizon.
After that comes Mirador del Balcón, a glass viewpoint suspended above the ocean, with cliffs dropping vertically below you. From there you cross the Agaete coffee region to the fishing village of Puerto de las Nieves, where a traditional lunch and local rum are waiting.
The day finishes with two northern towns. Firgas, with its tiled fountains and benches, and Arucas, with a basilica that recalls the Sagrada Família and a park to walk through. Along the way there are tastings of honey rum, churros and leche y leche coffee.
Who this is for (and who it is not)
It suits travellers who want to see the coast, the mountains and the green north in a single day and taste something local on the way. There is a decent amount of free time for walks, photos and souvenirs.
If you dislike time on a coach or struggle with winding roads, pick something shorter. Driving around the island means several hours on the road, broken up by stops.

We collect you directly from your hotel in the south of the island, from Playa del Inglés, Maspalomas, Puerto Rico and the surrounding area, between 8:00 and 8:45 depending on your location.
At booking you pay only the deposit: 15 euros per adult and 5 euros per child. The remaining 60 euros per person is paid during the tour by card or in cash.
